Human Rights First Rwanda Association is registered in accordance with laws governing non-profit making organizations in Rwanda under law no 20/2000 of 26/7/2000, MINISTERIAL ORDER No 91/11/ of 15th  June 2009. It is a non partisan association and has an open membership.

Its main objectives are

  1. To promote human rights education and provide legal assistance to poor and vulnerable groups in the Rwandan community at Large.

  2. To empower individuals and groups to campaign peaceful for their own rights and the human rights of others.
